Kaiser Bockbier is an amber brew with an enticing fruity nose and fair hopping offset well by ample malt. This dangerously drinkable 7.5% Bock has a semi-dry moreish finish.
Becher-Bräu Weizen Bock is a hearty 8.5% with noticeable alcohol mixed in with dried fruit in both the nose and palate. The lingering finish is semi-dry.
Becher-Bräu Josefi Bock is a hearty dark contemplative brew of 8.2%, full or rich malt and a hint of dark chocolate. It's dry for its strength and the finish is bittersweet.
Ott Bock is a fine example of a Hellerbock with a rich malty palate and long dryish bitter finish.
Grasser in Huppendorf is one of Franconia's greatest. Their Josefibock is one reason, perhaps my favorite of all Hellerbocks.
