Impression: Schwind Bräu Headbanger Hopfen is a golden example a lager in the Craft Beer inspired style. It has a creamy, white, rocky head and hoppy nose. The balanced palate is hoppy and fairly dry. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This is a collaboration brew between Schwind Bräu and another small local Craft Brewery called Headbanger. It was likely brewed with the onsite small kit used for experimental beers.

“Headbanger” – what an interesting name for a brewery!
It’s funny, I hadn’t thought about the head implications of their name. Many love their metal here so I thought more of that. American Craft Beer is more influential here than you might guess, at least with young people.
