Schrüfer Vollbier Hell gravity dispense is a low carbonation quaffer. The spicy hoppy nose is enticing. The hop forward palate is nonetheless balanced. The lingering finish is dry and semi-bitter. This gravity version is super soft and allows the the grainy malts to shine even in the face of the ample spicy hopping.
Göller Hausbrauerbier has an enticing pale yellow hue, massive rocky head and lightly grainy nose. It’s quite balanced in a malty way considering the relatively low abv of 4.3%. There’s a nice spicy hop element intermingling with the light grain. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter.
Beck Bräu Kellerbock is a richly malty Dunkler Doppelbock with a chestnut hue and caramel and dried fruit in both the nose and palate.
Lippert Adventsbock is quite the hoppy example of a Hellerbock but packs enough malt for fair balance. It drinks stronger than its listed 6.5%.
Hölzlein Rauch from gravity dispense is a very lightly smoky session beer with a faint grainy quality and semi-dry, clean finish. Excellent and a beer for those who say they don't like Rauchbier.
