Bräuhaus Dörflis Märzen

Bräuhaus Dörflis Märzen is a rich malty brew with fair hopping, making for a lovely semi-dry finish. It is brewed by the small communal brewery in the village of Dörflis in Lower Franconia but I sampled it at the Genussfestival 2024 in Ebern.

Murmann Lager

Murmann Lager is an unfiltered golden brew with a lightly grainy nose and palate and a moreishly semi-dry finish.

Göller Lager is a good example of the Altfräkisch style with a balanced malty palate and lingering semi-dry finish.

Sonnen-Bräu Lager is surprisingly hoppy unfiltered Helles with lingering semi-dry finish.

Keesmann Sternla is a Franconian Lager with balanced palate featuring both strong malt and firm hopping. The finish is clean, dry and bitter.
