Catching up with old friends & new Bocks on the 13-Brewery Trail

The Bamberg Countryside Breweries Experience and Brewing Heartland Experience are two great walking tours which take you off the beaten path and out into the beautiful Franconian countryside. You can be sure to drink beers you will never find back home and eat the local delicacies.

Göller Lager

Göller Lager is a good example of the Altfräkisch style with a balanced malty palate and lingering semi-dry finish.

Kaiser Bockbier

Kaiser Bockbier is an amber brew with an enticing fruity nose and fair hopping offset well by ample malt. This dangerously drinkable 7.5% Bock has a semi-dry moreish finish.

Drei Kronen (Scheßlitz) Schääzer Kronabier

Drei Kronen's Kronabier is a nice dry fruity quaffer with a clean finish.

Höhn Görchla

Höhn's Görchla is a serviceable Kellerbier with some grain in the nose and palate. Its soft mouthfeel and subtle hopping make easy drinking.

Drei Kronen's Bock is a fine example of the style with a slight raisin nose and great mix of rich malt and ample hopping.
