Tucher Original Nürnberger Rotbier is a balanced malty red lager with a lingering finish.
Bruderherz Roter Lui is an unfiltered balanced red lager with fair hopping for a Rotbier but lacks some harmony overall, especially in the lingering finish.
Tucher Mautkeller Rotes Lagerbier unfiltered is a primarily malty red lager brewed at Tucher's brewpub in the center of the city. Its finish is sticky and in my roundup of the town's Rotbiers, finished last.
Tucher Original Nürnberger Rotbier is a balanced session beer with some hops in the mix and a nice sourish element too.
Schanzenbräu Rotbier is perhaps the best of the Nürnberg Rotbiers and this is the town most noted for them. It's by far the cleanest and has the most moreish finish.
