On the need to be understood & not get hit by a passing truck en route to the Forstquell Brauerei

The Forest-Quell Brauerei is part of the Oettinger Group but it is used for experimental beers and training in addition to retaining the feel of a small family owned brewpub. The homey Inn and lovely Biergarten are much beloved by locals for their excellent food and beer. The hike from Wassertrüdingen to the brewery is quite scenic and the beer is worth the walk!

Forstquell-Bock

Forst-Quell Bock is another great beer from the brewery, coming out on Ash Wednesday at their annual Bockanstich. It's full of dried fruit and the lingering finish is quite dry for its strength and dangerously moreish.

Forstquell-Kupfer

Forst-Quell Kupfer is perhaps the brewery's most interesting beer and a fine Rotbier with some milk chocolate in both the nose and palate. It retains the brewery's signature dryness with a clean, semi-dry. bittersweet finish that just says more.

Forstquell-Gold

Forstquell-Gold is a refreshingly dry fruity unfiltered Helles with a clean, semi-dry semi-bitter finish that just says more.

Forstquell-Weiße

Forstquell-Weiße is a refreshingly dry wheat beer with a lingering semi-dry finish that just says more.
