Roth Helles on tap

Brewery: Roth
Town: Schweinfurt

Style: Helles 4.8
%
Color: golden

Head:
white, rocky, chiffon-like
Nose: mix of grain and hops

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, lightly grainy, underlying hops
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at Zum Roth in Schweinfurt

Impression: It took forever for the barman to pour this but when it came out, I could see why! It was one of those beers you HAVE to take a photo of. It was an amazing looking Helles with a golden hue and rocky chiffon like head along with a decent nose of grain and hops. Quite the hoppy Helles and much tastier than the bottle I sampled a few months ago. The lingering finish is just dry enough. It could be a Pils in Upper Franconia. Quite good.
