Nose: mown grass, grainy, yeasty
Body: medium
Palate: hoppy, slightly grain, some yeast

Impression: Another gorgeous beer from Strecks with an unfiltered golden hue and rocky head. Nose of mown grass and grain with a tinge of yeast. Balanced palate is quite dry but the lingering finish is only a slightly bitter. Quite nice.

I'm an American living in Munich and Bamberg. Why? Well, I came for the beer but stayed for the girl. I'm very happily married to a German woman. Of course, the bonus of great beer certainly doesn't hurt. An avid love of hiking and finding new beers has led me to found Beerwanderers, an information resource on beer hiking trails in Franconia with an emphasis on Franconian food specialties and the endless variety of amazing beer the region is renowned for. I also published my first book Beer Hiking Bavaria which features 50 beer hikes in Bavaria and lead beer hiking experiences for those who love beer & nature. View all posts by beerwanderers
