Häffner-Bräu Raban Kellertrüb
Brewery: Häffner-Bräu
Town: Bad Rapenau
Style: Kellerbier 4.9%
Color: lightly filtered golden
Head: white
Nose: light grain
Body: medium
Palate: malty, light grain
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, very slight bitterness
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: I was happy to see small pours with a few on tap and relatively low expectations. Happy also to see a miniature logo glass. I was expecting an amber unfiltered beer but this light golden brew is still a fair grainy Kellerbier with enough hops to balance out the malt forward palate. A step up from the Weizen but still glad I got the small pour.
