Häffner-Bräu Export

Brewery: Häffner-Bräu
Town:
Bad Rapenau
Style: Export
4.9%
Color: golden

Head:
white, creamy
Nose: malty, hint of butter

Body: medium

Palate:
malty, a touch of butter
Finish: lingering, a bit sticky

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: After the surprising Kellerbier, I almost got a full pour of their flagship Export but I’m glad I opted for the .3l again. Malt forward as you’d expect but a little butter in the nose foretells it in the palate. It’s nothing crazy but the lack of hops makes for a sticky finish and my least favorite so far.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
