Hausbrauer Brünn Hausbier
Brewery: Hausbrauer Brünn
Town: Brünn
Style: Hausbier
Color: unfiltered amber
Head: off-white
Nose: light grain
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, light grain, fruity, underlying hops, residual yeast
Finish: lingering, semi-dry
Served: from gravity dispense at the BR Radtour 2024 in Ebern
Impression: I had this at Genuss Festival in Ebern earlier this year and it was unusually yeasty and the worst beer of the day. This one is settled, ale-like and fruity with a nice dry lingering finish. One of my favorites this time.

I'm an American living in Munich and Bamberg. Why? Well, I came for the beer but stayed for the girl. I'm very happily married to a German woman. Of course, the bonus of great beer certainly doesn't hurt. An avid love of hiking and finding new beers has led me to found Beerwanderers, an information resource on beer hiking trails in Franconia with an emphasis on Franconian food specialties and the endless variety of amazing beer the region is renowned for. I also published my first book Beer Hiking Bavaria which features 50 beer hikes in Bavaria and lead beer hiking experiences for those who love beer & nature. View all posts by beerwanderers
