Klosterbräu Mallersdorf Maibock
Color: unfiltered golden
Head: white, creamy, thinning
Nose: richly malty, hint of grain, touch of honey, some hay
Palate: richly malty, some honey and grain
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, bittersweet
Served: on tap at the Klosterbräustüberl Mallersdorf
Impression: This is one very soft Bock with a creamy head and richly malty nose featuring honey and hay. Balanced palate has underlying hops to offset the ample malt. Lingering finish is semi-dry and bittersweet. Glad I came in May.
