Brewery: Kloster Kreuzberg
Color: in Krug so no visuals, looks chestnut
Head: off-white, sudsy
Nose: floral hops
Palate: balanced, malty, underlying hops, a touch of chocolate
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, very slightly bitter
Served: on tap at the Kloster Kreuzberg Ausschank
Impression: It had been 15 years since I’d had it so it’s hard to relay an impression tainted by such a long shadow. The floral hops in the nose lead to a balanced brew with a touch of chocolate and underlying hops which dry it out in the lingering finish.
