Zirndorfer Landbier
Brewery: Zirndorfer (owned by Tucher)
Town: Zirndorf
Style: Landbier 4.9%
Color: amber
Head: off-white, creamy
Nose: malty. light roast
Body: medium, a bit fizzy
Palate: balanced, toasted malt, light roast, underlying hops
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at the Zirndorfer Bräuschank in Zirndorf
Impression: Served a bit too cold and fizzy with minimal attention to presentation but it’s nonetheless a serviceable example of the style. Amber hue foretells toasted malt and some roast. It’s balanced enough but the lingering finish is a tad sticky. The building is gorgeous and Biergarten has one huge tree providing lots of shade.

Hey, you made it! lol. I have to agree on your take of the place. I cannot remember each pour from my last visit, but my favorite was also the Kellerbier. Nothing else stood out. Really good atmosphere and beautiful little area. Your pictures had me reminiscing. I had different meals than you had but all were good (thigh food service was a little slow).
I’d go back but probably as part of the Altenberger place if I heard they had a seasonal beer. Even if I never make it back, I’m glad I went. Thanks for the well-timed push.
