Impression: I have to admit, I bought this by mistake. I have to remember to bring my glasses when I go shopping. That said, this was a real eye-opener. Visually no one would mistake this gorgeous looking beer for an alcohol free one. It doesn’t have a robust nose but it smells like beer with a faint graininess. Even the body isn’t really thin. Most of the ones I’ve had have been Pils so loaded up on hops. This one is quite balanced and though expectedly a bit light on flavor, it’s certainly tasty enough and would fool a non-beer drinker. The finish is where it’s mostly lacking but I’ve had a few full strength beers with less certain ones. I’d rather drink it than a Radler and it would probably be decent mixed half and half with a real Helles.
