Reckendorfer Pils
Brewery: Schloßbrauerei
Town: Reckendorf
Style: Pils
Color: golden
Head: white
Nose: nice mix of grain and hops
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, grainy, hoppy
Finish: clean, dry, semi-bitter
Served: from a bottle at Zum Alten Zollhaus in Forchheim
Impression: I haven’t been happy with the Reckendorfer Kellerbier when eating at this great restaurant so notced they had their Pils on tap and decided to try it. Saw it poured from a bottle and figure it’s due to things being slow. It’s nonetheless a nice hoppy true to style Pils and much tastier than the Kellerbier with a nice mix of hops and grain.
