Impression: Orca Bräu Pils is an unfiltered golden example of the style. Evidently, they do a Bohemian Pils, as well. This German one is true to form with a touch of Craft Beer flair. The creamy white head and a nose mix of grain and hops are enticing.  The balanced palate is hop forward. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This is a nice example of bridging traditional Franconian lagers with a touch of Craft Beer in the hopping. It’s great to find this on tap at orca.bar right in Nürnberg.
