Impression: Ochsenhopf Bischofsgrün Pils is an unfiltered golden example of the style. Though the nose is hoppy, it’s got a balanced palate. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This small brewery started in 2023 in Bischofsgrün. It’s open for members who donate to their cause. Unfortunately, due to their inability to produce enough beer for the festival, It was contract brewed. This was made at the very capable Brauerei Drei Kronen in Memmelsdorf. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Bavarian Czechia Beer Tasting event held in Rehau.
