Impression: Maischerei Maibock is an unfiltered amber example of the style with a creamy chiffon-like white head. The richly malty nose features prominent Tettnanger hops. A balanced palate is similarly fruity and hoppy. The lingering finish is dry for the style and semi-bitter. Made with Munich Vienna malt and Tettnanger hops, it’s a truly traditional Maibock. It’s their first 100% organic beer, uses Weihenstephan yeast and was lagered for twelve weeks.
