Darling Brew Rogue Pony

Brewery: Darling Brew
Town:
Darling
Style:
Pale Ale
Color: deep golden

Head: white, rocky
Nose: some citrus hops

Body:
medium, medium carbonation, soft
Palate: balanced, hoppy

Finish: clean, slightly bitter

Served: on tap at the brewery in Darling

Impression:  This was my third taster at Darling Brew. It looked promising and in no way was a bad beer but it didn’t exactly jar my taste buds, either.  It was very balanced and would make a fine enough session ale at 5% but with so many choices, it would be doubtful I’d order another if I had a full pint rather than a taster. Even with the taster size, I was happy enough to move onto the next beer.

How about another South African craft beer?

    1. Haha. Well, there were plenty of those in South Africa and warm enough sunny days to enjoy them. Fair sized tasters at Darling Brew, too. So, you could try a decent amount and get an idea of what you liked.
