Impression: Loved the Karoo beers when in Kruger so made a special trip to the brewery. Probably wouldn’t have tried The Kudu but they had small tasting glasses and the prices were good so I figured I’d give it a shot. It was pretty much what I expected, a middle of the road brew made for those not looking for a lot of flavor. It wasn’t badly made in any way but it just wasn’t anything special, either. The owner/brewer was nice and got the appropriate bottle out for each small draft he poured. I didn’t ask him to do it, he just thought it made for a better picture and he was right!
How about another South African craft beer?
