Boet Beer English IPA
Brewery: Boet Beer
Town: Robertson
Style: English IPA
Color: unfiltered, amber
Head: rocky
Nose: slight hops
Body: medium, medium carbonation
Palate: balanced
Finish: clean, slightly bitter
Served: from a bottle bought at Satara Rest Camp store
Impression: This followed a fairly decent porter and may have suffered from that sequence but we still found it a nice easy to drink IPA. It may have been a bit too smooth and wasn’t anything special. That said, it was well enough made and didn’t have any noticeable flaws. As a post safari beer on a hot day, it did the trick.
How about another South African craft beer?
