The richly malty palate is typically spicy with a touch more hops than the standard Kulmbacher Festbier. The lingering finish is a bit drier than the standard Kulmbacher Festbier but disappointed it’s not hoppier from the description.

The richly malty palate is typically spicy with a nice toasted malt element. The lingering finish is just about dry enough to avoid being cloying but I’d like a bit more hops in the mix.
Kapuziner Weissbier from Kulmbacher is good example of the style with a fruity nose and palate, both featuring light banana. It is a bit thin on flavor overall but it's got the right components.
