History of Felsenbräu
Felsenbräu was founded in 1928 and has been in the Gloßner family ever since. It produces its own ice for cooling their beer and was recognized as the first solar brewery in Germany in 2007. They produce a large range of beers including a year round Doppelbock. Quite a few of their specialty beers have won medals including their Weizenbock. Tours are available in winter by arrangement only. If you walk a bit up the road the brewery is on, you’ll see some cool old Bierkeller entrances.
