Impression: Dorfbrauhaus Schönau an der Brend Hausbräu is an unfiltered amber brew but quite refreshing. The off-white rocky head is rocky and lasting. The balanced malty palate has light grain and underlying hops. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. They served it quite cold and perhaps more carbonated than I generally like, but on a hot day, it hit the spot. It warmed up quickly enough so you could appreciate the full flavor.
