Impression: Gleichamberg Brauhaus Hausbrauerbier is an unfiltered amber bottom-fermented beer. There’s some grain in both the nose and palate. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. It reminds me of Kölsch in the light body and refreshing palate. Their Brauhausfest is a well worth it event if you can make your way out to Gleichamberg. It’s the only place to find this unique beer on tap. I had sampled this at the Südthüringer Bierverkostung 2026 in Heldburg a few weeks prior but it was in better condition at the local festival.
