Impression: Ochsenhopf Hazy Juicy is an unfiltered golden session IPA. There’s some citrus hops in the nose. The balanced palate features similar citrus hop notes. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. I found it quite drinkable and not particularly bitter, perhaps due to its being gravity dispense. This was one I’d have liked to drink a full Seidla of even though I was apprehensive about the style. This small brewery started in 2023 in Bischofsgrün and is open for members who donate to their cause. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Bavarian Czechia Beer Tasting event held in Rehau.
