Impression: Kommunbräu Sechsämterland Wallenstein 1632 is their interpretation of a Czech Tmave. It’s an unfiltered chestnut example of the style with a roasty nose. The balanced palate is rounded with roasty notes and underlying hops. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This small brewery from Selb was founded in 2020 and promotes the history and culture of local brewing traditions. They do not have regular festivals but I will seek one out hopefully soon
