Schmölzer Dorfbrauerei was founded in 2017 by a local veterinarian and two friends in hopes of bringing the community together. They started with a two-hectoliter system but soon outgrew it even with just selling them directly at the brewery. With the concept of opening the Schmölzer Braugarten, they invested in a six hectoliter system to supply it and their growing bottles sales.
I arrived around 15:30 and saw some people going in so I followed them. They were doing a tasting of sorts and I was asked if I wanted to join but it was gorgeous out and the Biergarten was calling.
