Impression: Lichtenberger Sonnenbräu Raubritter Weizen has a gorgeous honeycomb hue and yeasty off-white head. The enticing fruity nose has some yeast in the mix. The balanced palate is similarly fruity with a nice yeasty element. The lingering finish is semi-dry with just a touch of bitterness. Not as strong as most Weizens and a little thinner on flavor as well. Still, not bad but visually raised my expectations. It’s certainly not spoiling my Weisswurstfrühstück.
