Impression: Kommunbräu Rehauer Bernstein is an unfiltered amber beer with a creamy white head and and grainy nose. The malty/grainy palate is quite balanced with underlying hops. It has a lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter finish. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Bavarian Czechia Beer Tasting event held in Rehau. I look forward to returning to Rehau for one of the brewery’s own events and drinking a few of these in a less rushed fashion.
