Impression: Kastanien Bräu Helles is an unfiltered golden example of the style. There’s some grain in the otherwise malty nose. The balanced palate has fair understated hops for the style. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This nano brewery began in 2021 in Schirnding. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Bavarian Czechia Beer Tasting event held in Rehau.
