Impression: Brauhaus zu Coburg Spezial was served on the warm side and I am not a big fan of super cold beers. I’d tried their Veste Trunk Zwickl from the bottle and had quite liked it. So, I had high expectations. This beer appeared to have been stored too warm. It had either spoiled or was past its prime. I had their Veste Trunk Zwickl on tap next and it was again closer to the bottled beer and was served at an appropriate cool temperature. I hope to return again soon to resample and hope for it to be in better condition. Unfiltered rustic Franconian beers vary. They are very perishable and require stringent control in storage.
