Zum Posterer Zoigl
Brewery: Zum Posterer
Color: amber, unfiltered
Head: white, thinning
Nose: malty, spicy
Palate: malty, sourish, some butterscotch
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: from the tank at the brewery
Impression: This was an unfiltered amber with thinning lasting head and spicy nose. There was a some sourish element to the otherwise slightly butterscotch malty palate. Fair hopping saved the day for a relatively clean dry finish. Not bad and certainly easy enough to drink but not a favorite.
