Impression: Ayinger makes a fairly large portfolio of regular beers, all well-made, but their seasonals are their true strength and this Winter Bock is no exception.  This is one rich complex brew. It comes out nearly black with an ample tan head. It’s got some dried fruit in the nose which is very apparent in the back end of every sip. There’s some fair hopping underlying the whole thing which makes for a moreish finish.  Quite nice.
