Impression: Kannerschreither Dunkel is an unfiltered chestnut example of the style. There’s some roast in the otherwise malty nose. The balanced palate features some light roast and nice underlying hops. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter. This small brewery began in 2019 in Konradsreuth. They evidently have a pub/Biergarten open Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as overnight accommodation. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Bavarian Czechia Beer Tasting event held in Rehau.
