Impression: Schweickershausen Brauhaus Hausbrau is a low carbonation unfiltered amber ale with a fruity palate. It has a lingering, dry, semi-bitter finish. The beer unfortunately had a sour element, which could mean an infection. These notes are sparse due to the number of beers sampled in a short time at the Southern Thuringian beer tasting event in Heldburg. This communal brewery doesn’t hold any festivals. So, unless you are invited to visit them, the Southern Thuringian beer tasting is your best bet to try Schweickershausen Brauhaus Hausbrau.
