Impression: Dingslebener Edel Pils is a classic German Pils with a firm hoppy palate. It has a lingering semi-dry, semi-bitter finish. This was my first beer from Dinglebener. I’ve wanted to the brewery for ages so a real surprise find for me in Bad Colberg.

I'm an American living in Munich and Bamberg. Why? Well, I came for the beer but stayed for the girl. I'm very happily married to a German woman. Of course, the bonus of great beer certainly doesn't hurt. An avid love of hiking and finding new beers has led me to found Beerwanderers, an information resource on beer hiking trails in Franconia with an emphasis on Franconian food specialties and the endless variety of amazing beer the region is renowned for. I also published my first book Beer Hiking Bavaria which features 50 beer hikes in Bavaria and lead beer hiking experiences for those who love beer & nature. View all posts by beerwanderers
