Impression: Metzdorfer Hausbrauerei Hopfentrunk is an unfiltered golden rustic Keller Pils. The nose is a mix of a hops and grain. The dry balanced palate is likewise laced with spicy hops and light grain. It has a lingering finish which is supremely dry and semi-bitter. This small village brewery is just outside of Kulmbach and worth the effort to visit for an excellent great value meal as well as their best in the area beers.
