Uetzing

Uetzing is a small town in the valley home to the Staffelberg, a flattish peak that dominates the landscape. Outdoor activities are a big part of the region’s tourist draw and numerous hiking trails pass through the various villages that line the pretty valley. With numerous half-timbered buildings and St. John the Baptist Church seemingly visible from all points, Uetzing is a worthy top if in the area. With a few places to stay and a number of places with great beer, it makes a fine base from which to explore. Of course, the reason for the beerwanderer to venture here is its fine brewery.
