This typical Franconian pub has been a neighborhood fixture since 1994, the oldest of the Landbier Paradies guesthouses. It doesn’t have a large lush Biergarten but its street side seating is nonetheless atmospheric and bustling. The interior oozes real local with a bar top rotating guest beer served gravity dispense and a large assortment of regional favorites in bottles. Their menu is limited mostly to Brotzeit with a few simple hot meals.

TI was hoping to sit outside but it was packed right after opening. The interior proved to be quite atmospheric, especially with a real wooden barrel gravity beer atop the bar. I was surprised to see it was the Staffelberg-Bräu Vollbier being poured gravity but it was quite good, as was the rustic Kalter Braten. I’d definitely go back here when back in town. While it lacked the Biergarten of the Stierzinger Straße location, it seemed more bustling and I enjoyed the beer more.
