Pension Rangerhof is a cozy Inn with sunny terrace seating in summer. They offer simple warm meals and cold snacks in the evening. Sunday lunches feature a few roast options typical of the region. We did not eat there as we were visiting the Brauhausfest in the village. I noticed a sign saying they had Dingslebener beer so I decided to check it out. They only had the Dingslebener Edel Pils on tap but it’s their flagship. Since the Schwarzbier was only bottled, I picked one up to bring home.

I was happy I checked out Pension Rangerhof. Though I did it solely to sample a beer I’d been seeking out for years, it turned out to be a really nice place. I also found a place to stay in case I want to return to the Brauhausfest in Bad Colberg next year.
