Join us for a trip to one of the true brewing heartland experiences by walking the Fünf Seidla Steig, the granddaddy of the beer hiking trails. Within an hour, we’ll be sipping our first hand crafted beer and getting ready for a full day of hiking.
This route will cover 10 km or 6 miles and has some moderately steep sections, passing through dense green forests to four small villages, one with a hilltop castle and finish up at a brewing monastery. Oh, and five small country breweries! More details of the trail can be seen here.
Meeting Point: Nürnberg Main Train Station (HBF) under the departure board at 8:45 am Saturday & Sunday (other days possible but not all breweries are open every day).
Duration: 8-10 hours (depending on group walking/drinking speed).
Cost: Public tours from as little as €100 per person/private tours from €220. Please inquire for smaller or larger groups or for starts from Munich. Ready to become a Beerwanderer ? Book online now!
Included: Transportation and guided walk with cultural insights and beery knowledge. First beer is on me. If the walk sounds too long, drop me a line. It is possible to cut it in half but it’s easier on some days of the week than others, so tell me what you want and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
For a more relaxed and fuller experience, add an overnight stop in one of the villages. Check out this truly unique experience.
