Join us for a walk to the brewing heartland: to some of the finest small breweries in the Bamberg surroundings. Though Bamberg is home to some of the greatest breweries anywhere, locals know there are even more only a short trip away.
This route covers 15 km or or 9 miles and involves some moderately steep sections. It passes through some dense green forest and through a few small scenic villages. It also passes by six small breweries with some of the best beer in the vicinity of Bamberg. As a bonus, two of these breweries have very scenic Bierkellers and if the weather is fine, we couldn’t possibly walk by them without stopping in.
