Buttenheim

The small town of Buttenheim packs a lot of punch for its size, being the birthplace of one Levi Strauss and now home to his namesake museum. If the jeans inventor thing isn’t enough to guarantee fame, it is also home to two of Franconia’s best regional breweries, both of which just happen to brew some of the finest Kellerbiers on the planet. To make a visit even more essential, not only do both have fine brewpubs with great food, but also fine Bierkellers just on the edge of town.
