Bräustübla Reckendorf history
Though founded in 2019, it took some time for the passionate entrepreneurs to renovate the old station dating back to 1894. That along with all of the other logistics and it opened with their own beer in 2025. With the small brewing kit on display and a tastefully done pub, it was a job extremely well done. It has a rustic feel but with some modern flair. It shows what can be done with old train stations in disrepair.

Bräustübla Reckendorfer Kerwa
Though they’d had a soft opening a few months prior, the big kick-off was for the Reckendorfer Kerwa and they had quite a turnout. As befitting such an event, they brewed a Festbier Märzen which everyone seemed to be enjoying. Along with their “usual” Brotzeit menu, they had Leberkäs mit Kartoffelsalat. It was a stunning day so everyone was sitting outside with an atmospheric view of the old station.

The owners are rightfully proud of their new venture and quite friendly in greeting and taking care of guests. It seemed their whole families were on hand so a real throwback feel to the cozy pub and village event. I’m looking forward to seeing this small brewery grow, produce more beer styles, and hopefully prosper. Below are their upcoming dates if you’re looking to do the same.
