With its prime just off the Unschlittplatz, this quirky atmospheric pub with both lunch and late night opening hours provides vegan food and Glossner beers from Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate. It’s a great after work place for locals to unwind and offers them and tourists alike a late night refuge and break from the town’s traditional Nürnberg Bratwurst cuisine.
Glossner Gold & lovely spinach potato curry
I was there for lunch and it was already full outside so I enjoyed the atmospheric interior. They had three choices on their chalkboard, all vegan. I had a lovely spinach potato curry, one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Germany. I found the Glossner Gold a bit sticky but it was fine for washing down my meal. I followed up with the Glossner Torschmied’s Dunkel, which was marginally better. I’ve seen the beers around town and I guess it is something exotic, coming from another area of Bavaria.

I quite liked the place and would definitely eat here again. Hopefully next time, they have an interesting guest beer.
