Stiebarlimbach, besides being a mouthful, is an unremarkable village in and of itself, but there’s no denying the old adage of location, location, location. It’s right on the edge of the Hallerndorfer Kellerberg, a scenic conglomeration of great Bierkellers set in a nice forest not all that far from Forchheim. There are numerous trails connecting the dots so to speak. If you have good weather, you could enjoy a few days here.
Add to this, it having an excellent brewery of its own and easy accessibility by dependable and relatively frequent bus service and it’s hard not to say, this is certainly one of the premier Bierkeller experiences in all of Franconia.
