While you can’t really compare the Fässla Keller to Spezial’s Keller up on Stephansberg, it is the brewery’s answer to giving its clientele a more atmospheric outside dining option than its quite busy courtyard in town. Since it is in town but across the tracks, it lacks any kind of view but there is a mix of mature and young trees which in conjunction with ample umbrellas give just enough shade.

just enough shade & Zwergla on tap

It took me quite some time to finally get here despite my wanting to try the brewery’s Zwergla on tap and never finding it to be the case at the brewery’s pub in town. I’d already eaten an ample lunch so didn’t get a chance to check out the food but I’m sure it’s quite good. I can attest to how lovely the Zwergla is on tap and it’s worth heading this way just for it. While it’s not exactly an area you’d come to, it is not far from Mahrs and Keesmann and can be included if visiting them. Cafe Abseits is also not far.

Beers: Lager, Gold-Pils, Weizla, Zwergla all on tap.
